Blue-and-white
are the principle colors of white-bodied Iznik ceramic. But the blue gets lighter from the
dark cobalt blue to the pale turquoise. 'Turquoise' becomes the dominant color in
time. By the adding of a misty type of purple and green, a new group of this period that
give more naturalistic style. Almost all ceramics have slightly raised red under the
transparent glaze after the mid 16th century. Flowers
